Meet the king of the road in all his fluffy glory! Knit your very own hedgehog, complete with a soft coat of faux-fur spikes, little legs and a prickly personality. This charming creature is part of my Welcome to the Urban Jungle collection, celebrating the animals that live alongside us in cities, towns and villages.

The hedgehog is knitted flat on straight needles using a combination of cotton and acrylic blend yarn and super chunky faux fur. The pieces are shaped using simple increases and decreases, then sewn together to bring your new prickly friend to life.

Kit Contains

• Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze Aran (61% cotton, 39% acrylic) – 1 ball of fawn colour and 15g of accent colour

• Zooaura Super Chunky faux fur (100% polyester) – 1 ball

• 30g toy stuffing

• 2 × 10mm black eyes and 1 × 12mm black eye, with washers

• 5mm (US 8) and 8mm (US 11) knitting needles (optional) 

• Darning needle
