Part of my Welcome to the Urban Jungle collection, the pigeon is knitted flat on straight needles using cotton-blend yarn. A combination of colour changes and simple shaping brings this familiar feathered friend to life.

Kit Contains

• Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze Aran – 2 balls of grey, 25g black, 10g foot colour, 10g each of two neck colours and a small amount of cream

• 30g toy stuffing

• 2 × 10mm black eyes and washers

• 5mm (US 8) knitting needles (optional)

• Darning needle

Skill Level: Easy - Intermediate

Stitches Used: Knit, purl, increase (Kfb) and decrease (SKP and K2tog)
